| Director of Preschool/Lead Teacher: I have my bachelors of arts in Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University. I offer dependable and high quality early childhood education at a price you can afford. I am cpr and first aid certified. I have references available for you to call. Unique features of Play and Learn Preschool is it is in my home, I serve nutritious snacks, I follow developmentally appropriate practices, and use a play based preschool program. I believe that children learn through play, that play is a motivation factor for learning, and that an adult's help and participation is necessary for learning to progress. |
| Philosophy of Early Childhood Education: As a preschool teacher, my goal is to provide a safe and happy place for children where they can learn and grow physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially at their own pace. I believe children learn through play and benefit from a structured yet flexible schedule. Activities will be offered which stimulate sensory motor development, cognitive development, language development and social interaction. The development of strong self-esteem is also a major goal. Children will be taught to respect each other, adults, and property. |
